eams from DIET Dibrugarh visited randomly selected private schools across the district on 9th June 2026 to survey compliance with the National School Bag Policy, 2020. The survey assessed adherence to prescribed bag weight norms for different classes and the use of textbooks as per NCERT guidelines, with the aim of reducing the physical burden on students and promoting a child-friendly learning environment.
