As per the provision of the National Policy on Education (1986), a centrally sponsored scheme of restructuring and reorganization of teacher education was approved in 1987. The establishment of DIETs was one of the components of the scheme. DIETs are the leading district academic institutes that aim to provide academic support & training to all academic functionaries. It emphasizes to provide quality teacher trainings and strives to improve pedagogical process of classroom learning. Our aim is to facilitate academic and educational resource support to the elementary and secondary schools of the district.
