Welcome to DIET Dibrugarh
District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) were established in each district (initially started with 06 Nos only) in Assam in the year 1989 as per the objectives envisaged in the NEP, 1989.
Subsequently, DIET, Dibrugarh, Chabua was established in the year 1994. The main objective behind its formation was build up the edifice of the quality education right from grass root level i.e. elementary stages of formal education. In this sense it would be reasonable to define it as the most precious Headquarter of quality- oriented elementary education.
